Our client, a buffet restaurant, offering a wide combination of mouth-watering dishes from around the world, is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
— Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably.
— Responsible for Staff management- hiring, firing,training etc.
— Ensure sufficient staff availability and preparation for party/group books .
— Ensure health and safety requirements are met for both staff and customers. • Following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations etc.
— The candidate will be responsible for the business performance of the restaurant, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety.
— The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day management activities.
— Responsible to meet sales target, maintain monthly budgets and reporting
— Manage production and stock holding according to stock holding list (already developed).
— Implement and oversee the process for ordering and managing stock levels. • Ensure consistency in food quality and service.
— Handling customer complaints effectively.
— Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company’s uniform standards The Ideal candidate should have:
— Relevant experience of working in hospitality industry / similar environment knowledge of the cuisine served
— Good business awareness
— Ability to work under pressure
— Team working skills and the ability to lead all staff
— Ability to work independently
— Problem-solving ability
Degree or Diploma in Hospitality will be an added advantage.
