Our client is a chain of popular branded restaurants and is currently looking to recruit Senior Sous Chef to join their team in Edinburugh.
Duties and Responsibilities:
— The Senior Sous Chef should have the ability to demonstrate an eye for detail, leading by example and teaching at every opportunity.
— The Sr. Sous Chef must have an confident, approachable and motivating personality.
— Should have ability to prepare, cook & present all dishes in accordance with company standard, maintaining quality, consistency & speed of service in busy restaurant operation.
— To assist in the recruitment of new employees & a strong understanding of UK employment law.
— Should be able to assist appraise a team at every level from induction through to development plans.
— Should have ability to manage a large team and working under pressure.
— Effective management of all current legislation relating to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
— Should have excellent communication, planning & organisational skills.
Suitable candidate must have relevant experience of working in a similar environment.
